Shabby chic card created using 12×12 paper and butterfly dies from Sara’s Signature shabby chic range by crafters companion.
Base paper distressed around the edges using scissors (I find this the easiest method).
I die cut some flourishes in craft card and glued them to the left of the card.
Scrap of craft card embossed and highlighted with creative expressions gilding polish in chocolate bronze and glued on top. I bought some cheap pre cut corrugated tags and glued them to the right side of the card.
I then folded cream satin ribbon and glued it as it fell to the side of the tags. I used hot glue gun to do this as it grabs quickly (and burns your fingers!!). I then coiled pearl rope on top of this.
Paper roses glued in place, again using hot glue along with 2 die cut butterflies.
I finished the card with some pearl embellishments.
